Nebraska Becomes 19th State to Enact Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
Washington, D.C. (April 26, 2017) –On Tuesday, Nebraska Governor Pete Ricketts signed into law legislation sponsored by State Senator Carol Blood (D-District 3) that makes Nebraska the 19th state to join the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC). New Directors Elected To FSMB Foundation Board
The Federation of State Medical Boards (FSMB) Board of Directors elected two Directors to the FSMB Foundation Board during the FSMB board's July meeting. The newest Director is Timothy J. Turner, a public member of the Texas Medical Board. He was appointed by Gov. Rick Perry in 2003 and again in 2009 for an additional six-year term. The FSMB Board re-elected Hedy L.
